Cats have always been entertaining animals, how well
do you remember your favorite cartoon cats? Felines have been a popular choice
for a number of TV shows, here are just a few of the lovable feline figures
that have taken the world by storm down the years:
Garfield
Garfield is an orange, fuzzy, tabby cat born in the kitchen
of an Italian restaurant he can be very cynical, he does have a soft side for
his teddy bear, Pooky, food and sleep.
Doraemon
Doraemon is sent back in time by a young boy named Sewashi Nobi to improve the circumstances of his great grandfather, Nobita so that his descendants may enjoy a better future.
Puss in Boots
Puss in Boots is a talking cat named for his wearing boots and is a
fugitive on the run from the law, looking to restore his lost honor.
Luna and Artemis
Luna and her partner Artemis were advisors to Queen Serenity
in the Silver Millennium, and when the kingdom was ruined Serenity used the
power of her Silver Crystal to send the two cats to Earth's future in order to
awaken the Sailor Senshi.
Cat In The Hat
A tall, anthropomorphic, mischievous cat, wearing a tall,
red and white-striped hat and a red bow tie.
Felix The Cat
His black body, white eyes, and giant grin, coupled with the
surrealism of the situations in which his cartoons place him, combine to make
Felix one of the most recognized cartoon characters in film history.
Hello Kitty
The iconic white cat with a red bow, dots for eyes, and absent mouth that is mysteriously cute.
Pink Panther
The Pink Panther is the sly, lanky often harried but rarely
ruffled skinny feline.
Hobbes
Hobbes is often the voice of reason, contrasting Calvin's
manic impulsiveness. It is ambiguous if this rationality is in Hobbes as a
distinct personality, he is Calvin's stuffed tiger and best friend, and is

The Cheshire cat sometimes raises philosophical points that
annoy or baffle Alice. It does, however, appear to cheer up when it turns up
suddenly.

Tom is a blue and white domestic shorthair cat. He usually
lives a pampered life, although the characters usually live in several
lifestyles.

Sylvester's trademark is his sloppy and yet stridulating

Pete (also known by variations of his name, including
Mighty Pete, Peg-Leg Pete, Bad Pete, Big Pete, Big Bad Pete, Black Pete and
Peter Pete) is a Disney character from the Walt Disney Company studios.
