On June 6th, 2012, YouTuber wzr0713 uploaded a webcam video titled “JB Fanvideo” wherein she performs a parody version of Justin Bieber’s hottest single “Boyfriend” with personalized lyrics. the video was submitted in response to Bieber’s declaration of an online sing-off competition in promoting his celebrity perfume “Girlfriend.”
Dog Shaming
The “Dogshaming” Tumblr blog was launched on August 16th, 2012, with its primary post featuring a photograph of a black and tan dachsund with a sign that read, “I am an underwear eating jerk!” (shown below). Within six days, the post received over 940 notes.
